In this tutorial we will go over how you use the Swap service in the BitFrost wallet.

After you register for the Swap Service you see that the Swap option is visible to you. If you haven't registered please look over our tutorial on how to sign up for our swap service.

Press the Swap button next to the bottom of the page

On the swap page you can change you swap by pressing the button next to bottom, in this case. Bitcoin to SnowGem. If you press that you can switch to and from for example BTC-> XSG and vise versa. When you have selected your preferred swap press the checkmark in the upper right corner.

Then you get to the next page where you can see the coins you are swapping, press the next button on the bottom of the page if you want to continue.

As seen in the example below you both get a Estimated amount and an Guaranteed amount, this is because the swaps take some time and while the funds are moving the price of a coin can change. On bigger swaps there is the chance a price moves while filling the orders.
When you are ready to continue you press the Swap button on the bottom of the page.
If the price has changed in the meantime you are looking this info over you will be prompted to update the swap.

It might take some time for the swap to register and when that is completed you can follow your Active swaps in the swap part of BitFrost. If you press the Active swap you can get further details on the progress.

While the swap is active you have the chance to cancel it. When you cancel a swap you will be refunded coins to you wallet based on how far the swap has gone. If the swap has filled part of the total swap you will receive the coins that have been swapped and the remaining coins, minus the transfer fees.

After the swap has finished you can see Swap progress change to Completed
